Ethio Agri-CEFT Plc cultivates medicinal and aromatic plants at Bir, Ayehu and Holeta Farms. The area under the medicinal and aromatic plants was 50 hectares. These plants include such as flowers (e.g. rose, lavender), leaves (e.g. citronella, lemongrass), leaves and stems (e.g. mint, lemon verbena, sweet marjoram, geranium, rosemary). Our company is involved in processing essential oils (such as palmarosa, lemongrass, spearmint, citronella) and herbal teas (such as hibiscus, chamomile, lemon verbena, spearmint and moringa) using essential oil steam distiller imported from India. The steam distiller has the capacity more than six quintals at one batch. In addition, we have also a laboratory in Addis Ababa to ensure the quality of our products. Our products are used in food processing, soap, cosmetic and pharmaceutical units.
